The Buffalo City Court Building (also known as Frank A. Sedita City Court) is a ten-storey, brutalist courthouse with an almost monolithic appearance: the façade consists of large prefabricated concrete panels and features only narrow, discreetly placed window openings. This design can be explained from an attempt to screen the courtrooms and judges’ rooms from any possible distractions.
