  • Washington DC, USA, Show on map
  • #GOV #ConcreteMonster #North America
  • The headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington DC is a low-rise office building. The building has 260,210 square meter of interior space spread across different parts of the building, the tallest of which is 11 stories high. Sand-colored precast and cast-in-place concrete with repeating, square, bronze-colored windows set deep into concrete frames define the exterior appearance of the façade.

  • The FBI plans to leave the building. But for years, the plans have been delayed or even scuppered. In need of renovation, but it is stated that demolition and new construction would be less expensive. Future unclear (last updated on February 2, 2025).
