The House of Arts (Slovak: Dom Umenia) is a cultural and social center situated in the city park at the bank of the river Váh in Piešťany. It was the first Slovak theater building realized after World War II outside of Bratislava. Milučký claimed to have been inspired by Slovak historical and folk architecture and emphasized the unity of exterior and interior. Special thanks to Lucia Kuklišová
Júlia Kunovská, the wife of the architect Milučký, was involved in the interior design. The original interior elements include, for example, the characteristic red round seating, wall panels and ceiling lights.

In July 2019, the citizens' initiative Čierne diery (Black Holes) and DOCOMOMO Slovakia submitted an application to have the House of Arts (Dom Umenia) in Piešťany listed as a historical monument. This application was officially accepted on May 30, 2022: The building was included in the register of monuments of the Slovak Republic as a národná kultúrna pamiatka (National Cultural Monument).
According to the Monument Fund Evaluation Commission, the House of Arts has outstanding architectural, design, artistic and craftsmanship qualities. It is considered one of the best-preserved examples of late modernism in Slovakia, is still used today in its original function as a cultural site and also has urban planning value due to its free-standing location on the banks of the Váh River.
Renovation work is currently being planned in line with heritage requirements. The aim is to improve the building's energy efficiency and technology while preserving its brutalist architecture (last updated on July 11, 2025).
