Ensemble of light-flooded, transparent buildings with a terraced inner courtyard. The surfaces formed glass and exposed concrete, quartzite and shell limestone, chrome and teak.

The old embassy building was demolished by September 2020 and will be replaced by a new building on the same site by 2022. 

This building was included in the red list, published in our exhibition catalog SOS Brutalism: A Global Survey (September 2017). After a status review on September 23, 2020, it was reclassified in the online database from red (endangered) to black (demolished).
