The James H. Albertson Center for Learning Resources with its mainly closed façade consists of several cubic volumes: a flat, rectangular base over the entire ground of the building and above that a somewhat narrower but higher big cube, which is intersected in the middle by two building slabs. The façade is predominantly brick and is accentuated with exposed concrete sections.

Demolished in summer 2023. A new learning resource center is to be built in place of Albertson Hall. Construction issues, fire safety and technical deficiencies, and the poor condition of the old building's structure were cited as reasons for the decision to replace rather than renovate the building.
