The St. James Centre in Edinburgh was a massive shopping complex whose façade was characterized by textured concrete panels.

Demolished in 2018/19.

This building was included in the red list, published in our exhibition catalog SOS Brutalism: A Global Survey (September 2017). After a status review on January 24, 2019, it was reclassified in the online database from red (endangered) to black (demolished).
