Carlfried Mutschler / Otto Herbert Hajek: St. Lucas Church (Lukaskirche), 1965C–1967
- Mannheim, Germany, Show on map
- #REL #Western Europe
-
A square floor plan, covered by a folding roof standing on 8 pillars. The exposed concrete church attracts special attention because of its cubic tower and the integrated reliefs. Inside the church, a play of light is created by the unclosed area between the ceiling and the façade.

In use. Originally exposed concrete now painted gray. In the years 2006 to 2007 the church was rebuilt barrier-free by Ludwig Schwöbel.
