The complex consists of multiple staggered apartment blocks with striking protruding balconies that lend the façade a relief-like structure. The serial interplay of projections and recesses, which emphasizes the sculptural character of the ensemble, is complemented by exposed concrete panels patterned with circles.

In 2011 the complex was sold to be demolished and replaced with a mixed use complex. Most tenants were evicted, however since then the buyer was not able to come up with the money for redevelopment. The houses have been mostly empty since and are still threatened by demolition (last updated on February 12, 2025).
