Brutalist parking garage with a façade divided into small sections by concrete beam elements. The upper two storeys were visually emphasized by shiny ribbon windows, but also connected to the façade design below with repetitive interruptions made of concrete.

The demolition of the Government Center garage, which took about eight years, was finished by 2024. Its removal is part of the $1.5 billion Bulfinch Crossing and One Congress project that is set to bring six new high-rise and mid-rise buildings (last updated on February 7, 2025).
