Dimitri Dimakopoulos et Associés: Hôtel Le Concorde Québec, 1969D–1974

  • Québec, Canada, Show on map
  • #TOU #North America
  • The Concorde is a 29 stories hotel crowned with a panoramic rotating restaurant, designed by the architects Dimitri Dimakopoulos et Associés. The giant stands out by being 10 times higher then the surrounding patrimonial houses. It is located on one of Québec's busiest streets and at the frontier of the famous Plaines d'Abraham. Criticized at the beginning, it now acts as a landmark for the city.

  • The hotel closed in February 2014, was sold and then reopened on the 25th May 2014. It is still operating as an hotel and is not endangered for the moment.
