It comprises a terrain where the ambitious "Oil District" was supposed to be built, but since most of this project was never realized, Centro Plaza ended occupying this spaces. This complex integrates a shopping mall with four corporate towers over it. Originally, one of the towers was supposed to be an Apart-Hotel, but it was finally turned into an office building. The shopping mall serves as as important pedestrian passage. An amazing sculpture made by the artist Carlos Cruz-Diez receives visitors through the access of the Avenue Francisco de Miranda.
