Chung Chi Hall is located at Chinese University Campus at the base of the hill below the university dormitory. Considering the student activity centre as a focal point in Chung Chi College, the client has requested a special building form at the beginning. It serves such multi-functional purposes as eatery hall, film screening, ballroom, etc. The architect designed an unusual triangular frame structure to provide a wide space at the bottom and to allow cross ventilation and natural lighting. On the other hand, the triangular frames are more efficient and economical structure than conventional post and beam. The exposed structures are further elaborated by a cantilevered box supported by inverted triangular frames.

In use. Façade repainted in grey colour and interior renovation was found.
