The unassuming entrance of the church conceals a tranquil interior characterised by a harmonious interplay of elements, deftly blending the cool austerity of concrete foundations with the ethereal grace of a tented ceiling, which hangs overhead like billowing silk. Anchoring the space, the church floor is adorned with an earthy granite mosaic, providing a grounding contrast to the surrounding shuttered concrete enclosure.
Within the fabric of the flowing ceiling, lintels stretch gracefully overhead, while skylights traverse its length, casting a gentle cascade of light that descends vertically down the walls. This architectural flourish serves to accentuate the focal point of the altar, forging a poignant connection between heaven and earth, as if drawing the celestial realm into intimate communion with the terrestrial domain.Written by Jamie McGregor Smith
