  • The Ludwig-Jahn-Stadion is a soccer stadium with athletics facilities that was built in the 1930s. In 1970, this judges' tower was added by Hochbauamt Ludwigsburg (the municipal building department) under the supervision of Baurat Frank and master builder Braungart. It is a three-storey tower made of reinforced concrete with clearly visible storeys. The building is accessed via an external staircase with red metal railings. Also red: the frames of the windows of the judges' booths. These booths are clearly visible on the façade with large window surfaces tilted forward towards the stadium, which in turn are covered by concrete surfaces that tilt back. On the south-west side, on the other hand, the building ends with a closed, straight concrete surface.
